I love an awesome school supply. I was recently introduced to a new favorite,
Kwik Stix. I have been trying to find every way possible to use them.
What are
Kwik Stix? They are bright colored paint sticks. You roll them up and paint with them. They dry fast and you don't need water! I had my students test them and they LOVED them. We used them on construction paper and canvas. Here are some pictures of our projects:

I had to try them myself. They are so easy to use! |

ReplyDeleteI would love to use them during indoor recess! I think the students would love to use them!
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Emily
I will have my students use them to make some colorful pictures!
ReplyDeleteThese look so cool!
ReplyDeleteThese would be great for science!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking it would be a good way to practice sight words!
ReplyDeleteI would use these as a reward for good behavior and reaching AR goals, practice writing CVC words and sight words, using best handwriting, illustrating draw and writes, and more! There are endless possibilities! We don't have an art special, so they only get what art I can tie to our standards. Thanks for the opportunity!
ReplyDeleteArt is one of my literacy centers so these would be used several times a month. We always add some kind of visual or model to our writing using various art forms.

These look like they would be lots of fun for my kindergartners. It would be great to use them at some of our literacy centers as they practice their skills. I love how the colors really pop!
ReplyDeleteMy kids LOVE art projects and this is so much easier than paint! I would use these in my classroom on various occasions while integrating arts into the curriculum!
